Introduction
The Voter Registration page allows you to enter information from voter registration cards collected by your canvassers before returning the cards to the appropriate government agency. The Voter Registration page is designed to help organizations manage their voter registration programs, collect more information about the voter, flag the person in the system before they become a registered voter, and continue to track the voters after their registration has been processed. As we receive Voter File updates from your county, all matching voters will be added to your account with a special New Registrant flag, along with any other flag you have associated with the voter. The process is very simple, as the page should reflect the field options found on most registration cards.
- To access the Voter Registration page, hover the mouse over the Outreach dropdown of the Navigation Menu and click Voter Registration.
New Reg Data Entry
The New Reg Data Entry tab is where you can enter in the data from the voter registration cards. Entering an individual in this tab will add them to your People database. Once the voter file is updated, our system will add a My Registrant status to all matching registrants. All flags entered in this page will transfer over to the voter records as well.
Note: You will want to make sure you enter in as much information as possible for a more accurate match.
- Enter in the information from the paper registration form into the New Reg Data Entry page.
- Check the Verified checkbox in the upper right-hand corner once the information entered on the page has been verified.
- Click the Save button.
New Reg Search
The New Reg Search tab is used for searching the registrants you have entered in the New Reg Data Entry tab. Once you make your selections using the fields featured below, click the Search button to run your search.
- First Name - The first name of a registered individual.
- Last Name - The last name of a registered individual.
- Birthdate - The birthday of the registered individual.
- Entered By - The user who entered the registration form into the PDI system.
- Canvasser - The canvasser who collected the registration form.
- Verified - If the record has been marked as verified.
- Entered Date Range - The date a registration form was entered.
- Affidavit Start Range - Returns results for records with Affidavit numbers at the entered range or higher.
- Affidavit End Range - Returns results for records with Affidavit numbers at the entered range or lower.
- Matched - If the record has been matched to an individual in the voter file.
- Export List - Clicking the button will export this list in the table into a spreadsheet file.
New Reg Statistics
The New Reg Statistics tab is the statistics page used to display all of the stats for your Voter Registration program. This page features a series of drop-down menus that allow you to filter the report.
- Filter By User - Allows you to filter the report by the user who entered in the information
- Filter By Canvasser - Allows you to filter the report by the canvasser who collected the information.
- Show Last ... - Allows you to filter the report to a selected date range.
