The Import Phones and Email page allows you to import additional Home Phone Numbers, Mobile Phone Numbers, and Email Addresses for the individuals in your Voter database.

This type of import requires that each record in your file contains a PDI ID in order to match to the voter record.

Each additional piece of contact data uploaded from this page will supersede the phone numbers and email address that were obtained from the voter file.

• The Import Phones and Email page can be accessed by hovering over the People section in the Navigation Menu, clicking the Import/Export Data section, and then clicking Import Phone Number and Emails.

Below are instructions for importing the new phone numbers and email addresses into your organization account.

Importing Phone and Emails

1. Click the Browse button to select the file from your computer.
2. Use the File Type drop-down menu to select the file type for the file you are uploading.
3. (Optional) If the first row of the file contains header information, activate the First Row contains Column Title check box.
4. If you are uploading a CSV, TSV, or Text File, use the Separated by radio buttons to select the character that separates the columns in your file.
   1. If your column separators are designated by characters other than a comma or tab, activate the Other radio button.
   2. Use the textbox to enter in the separating character.
5. Click the Continue to Field Mapping button to load the file into the system for matching. A preview of your file will appear on the right-hand side of the page.
6. Use the Select Column with ID value to Match drop-down menu (in the bottom left) to select the column that contains the PDI IDs.
7. (Optional) Use the Select Column with Home Phone drop-down menu to select the column that contains the Home Phone Numbers.
8. Optional) Use the Select Column with Mobile Phone drop-down menu to select the column that contains the Mobile Phone Number.
9. Optional) Use the Select Column with Email Addresses drop-down menu to select the column that contains the Email Address.
10. Click the Import button to upload your file.
