Changing Precincts

 

Introduction


The Manage Precincts page allows system administrators to customize the names of precincts in the PDI and designate them as either walkable or not walkable. You can create a precinct name by clicking in the Precinct Name box of the precinct you would like to name, and type in a name for the precinct. Press the enter key after entering in the name to save the changes. This page also allows you to designate a precinct as not walkable by clicking on the row of the precinct you want to change, and deactivate the checkbox in the Walkable column. This information altered in this section can only be viewed under the Precinct w/Subs option featured in the List of Districts sub-tab of the Create Universe page, and the Add Geographic Filter pop-up in the Process List and Files page.

  • To access the Manage Precincts page, hover the mouse over the Admin dropdown of the top Navigation Menu, click on Additional System Data Settings and then click Manage Precincts.

  1. Click in the row of the precinct you would like to update.
  2. Use the text box to assign a name to the precinct.
  3. Use the checkbox to set the precincts walkability. Note:
