Introduction
The Person Details page allows you to view all aspects of a voter / person record. This page is divided into multiple tabs to better structure the various data points of the individual's record. In addition to viewing an individuals complete record, this page can be used to edit an individuals record, add/remove ID Flag, add donations, copy voters to your people database, and assign event shifts.
- The Person Details page is accessed from the People Search page by clicking on the name of a Voter or Person after executing an successful search.
Page Overview
- Name - Displays the name of the Voter or Person in the upper left corner.
- ID Summary - Displays if the individual is in your Person Database.
- Residence Address - Displays the individual's primary residence.
- Mailing Address - Displays the individual's mailing address.
- Home Phone - Displays the individual's home phone number.
- Mobile Phone - Displays the individual's mobile phone number.
- Email Address - Displays the individual's email address.
- Edit Contact Info - Allows you to edit information about the individual. Note: Individuals in the people database have more modifiable fields.
- Delete Person - Removes the individuals record from the People Database.
- Copy to Person Database - Copies the Voter Record to your People Database. Note: This option only appears on voter records, not on records of individuals who are already in your People Database.
- Magnifying glass icon - Returns you back to your search result list.
- Previous (Up arrow) - Moves to the previous record in your search result.
- Next (Down arrow) - Moves to the next record in your search results.
- Tabs - Features additional information about the Voter / Person record. Note: Information about the tabs can be found below.
Contact IDs
The Contact IDs tab features an individuals support status history, the list of ID Flags they have received, and Comments that have been entered in on their record. This page allows you to add and remove both ID Flags and Comments.
Adding ID Flags with Question
- Click on the Add Contact ID button.
- Use the Question drop-down menu to select the question you would like to associate with the quick flag.
- Use the Select a ID Flag drop-down menu to select the flag you would like to attribute.
- Click the Save button.
Adding a No Question Flag
- Click on the Add Contact ID button.
- Activate the No Survey Questions checkbox.
- Use the Associate answer with drop-down menu to select the type of flag you are attributing.
- Use the Select a Flag ID drop-down menu to select the flag you are attributing.
- Click the Save button.
Adding Simple Flags
- Click on the Add Contact ID button.
- Activate the Use Simple Flags checkbox.
- Use the Select a Flag ID drop-down menu to select your flag.
- Click the Save button.
Adding an Advanced Flag
- Click on the Add Contact ID button.
- Click the Show Advanced Options link.
- Use the Question drop-down menu to select the question you would like to associate with the quick flag.
- Use the Select a ID Flag drop-down menu to select the flag you would like to attribute.
- Use the Acquisition Type drop-down menu to select the acquisition type you would like to associate with the flag.
- (Optional) Use the Canvasser drop-down menu to select the canvasser you would like to associate with the flag.
- Use the Date textbox to set the entry date for the flag.
- Click the Save button.
Note: You can setup an Advanced Flag without a question by activating the No Survey Question checkbox.
Adding Comments
- Click on the Add Comment button.
- Use the Add Comment textbox to enter in the comment.
- Click the Save button.
Removing ID Flags
- Click the Trashcan icon located in the far right column of the ID Flag record.
- Click the Yes button in the pop-up.
Removing Comments
- Click the Trashcan icon located in the far right column of the comment record.
- Click the Yes button in the pop-up.
Volunteer Info
The Volunteer Info tab displays the volunteer information that has been collected on an individual. This page can also be used to assign a shift to the individual and edit volunteer information. Note: You will only have access to edit volunteer information if the individual is in your People Database.
- Volunteer Status - Displays the current status of the volunteer.
- Next Activity - Displays the volunteers next upcoming shift.
- Last Activity - Displays the volunteers last shift.
- Recruited By - Displays the name of the individual who recruited the volunteer.
- Source - Displays the source of the volunteer.
- Assigned Organizer - Displays the name of the organizer assigned to the volunteer.
- Volunteer Level - Displays the volunteers current volunteer level.
- Volunteer Zone - Displays the volunteers volunteer zone.
- Mobile App Password - Displays the password the volunteer will use to log into the mobile app.
- Is an Organizer - Displays if the volunteer is also an a volunteer organizer.
- Preferred Work Activities - Displays a list of the voters preferred volunteer activities.
- Skills - Displays a list of the volunteers skills.
- Teams - Displays a list of teams attributed to the volunteer.
- Availability - Displays a list of days and times when the volunteer is affability.
- Edit Volunteer Info - Allows you to edit some of the various items show in the Volunteer Info tab.
- Assign to an Event Activity - Allows you to assign an event shift to the volunteer.
Editing Volunteer Information
- Click the Edit Volunteer Info button.
- Make your changes.
- Click the Save button.
Assigning an Event Shift
- Click on the Assign to an Event Shift button.
- (Optional) Use the From and To text boxes to set the date range of shifts you would like to view. Then click the Search button execute the search.
- Activate the checkboxes of the shifts you would like to assign.
- Click the Assign button to assign the shift to the individual, or click the Assign and Notify button to assign the shift and notify the individual of their upcoming shift via text message.
Donor Info
The Donor Info tab displays all of the donations that have either been captured in the PDI system or manually entered. This tab also allows you to enter in new donation records.
Adding New Donations
- Click on the Add Transaction button. A pop-up box will appear.
- Use the Transaction Type drop down menu to select the type of contribution you are recording.
- Use the Number text box to enter in the contribution number.
- Click the Date text box to populate a calendar to select the date the contribution was received.
- Use the Method drop down menu to select the payment method the individual used to give the contribution.
- Use the Amount text box to enter in the donation amount.
- Use the Account drop down menu to select the bank account the payment was deposited in.
- (Optional) Use the Election drop down menu to select the election cycle the contribution was received.
- (Optional) Use the Reporting Code drop down menu to attribute the correct reporting code to the contribution.
- Use the Budget Category drop down menu to select what the contribution will be used for.
- (Optional) Use the Compliance Note text box to enter in extra compliance information about the contribution.
- (Optional) Use the Internal Note text box to enter in extra information for your organization account about the contribution.
- (Optional) Use the Check Note text box to enter in extra information about the check received for the contribution.
- Click the Save button to save the transaction, or click Save and Add New to save the transaction and add an additional transaction.
Event Info
The Event Info tab displays a list of events that the individual has been invited to, attended, or signed up for using a Web Form. This section allows you to change an individual's RSVP status, confirm them for the event, and mark them down as having attended the event. Once you make any changes in this screen, click the Save Changes button.
Communication Info
The Communication Info tab displays a list of emails that have been sent to the individual from within the PDI system. You cannot make any edits in this page.
- Communication Type - Displays the email address of the individual.
- Communication Name - Displays the name of the communication.
- Date - Displays the date the email was sent.
- Response Status - Displays the actions the individual took with the email.
Voter Info
The Voter Info tab displays information from the individual's voter record. The section below features information on each section in the tab.
- Party - Displays the individual's current party.
- Age / Birthdate - Displays the individual's age and birthdate.
- Ethnicity - Displays the individual's ethnicity.
- Birth Place - Displays the individual's state or country of origin.
- Current Reg Date - Displays the individual's latest registration date.
- First Reg Date - Displays the individual's first registration date.
- Precinct Name - Displays the individual's precinct number.
- Blue Vote ID - Displays the individual's Blue Vote ID.
- Primary ID - Displays the individuals Primary ID.
- Other Voters in the Household - Displays a list of all voters that reside at the residence.
- Permanent Vote By Mail - Displays if the individual is a permanent vote by mail voter.
- Early Vote Behavior - Displays the individual' s vote by mail behavior.
- First Vote - Displays the individual's first vote date.
- Current Cycle Status - Displays if the individual has received / returned a mail ballot during the current cycle.
- Vote History - Displays a list of elections in which the individual has participated
- Districts - Displays a list of districts where the individual resides.
- Model Scores - Displays a list of models and scores attributed to the voter.
Member Info
The Member Info tab displays custom membership information that you have uploaded to your account. In most cases you can click the Edit Member Info button to begin making changes in this tab. However since this information is account specific, you may need to contact our support staff for assistance making changes to any of the data.
The Has Portal Access checkbox determines if the individual has access to your membership portal. You can see the individual's membership information under Memberships at the bottom of the page.
