Introduction
Precincts can be displayed as an overlay over the map in the Create and Edit Turf page. By default, the precinct layer is not active, which means that it cannot be clicked on. However, by activating precinct layers, users can then view the voter count in a specific precinct, assign those precincts out to canvassers, and even produce printed lists.
- The Create and Edit Turf page can be accessed by hovering over the Outreach section in the Navigation Menu, clicking on Door to Door Canvassing, and then clicking Cut Custom Turf.
Viewing Precincts
These instructions are shown from the mapping module. Precincts can be used to view counts, print lists and assign precincts out to canvassers for mobile assignments.
Viewing Precinct Layer
- Use the Show Map Layers drop down menu to select Precincts.
Viewing Precincts Individually
Precincts must be fully loaded before you can search for them.
- Click on the Search button on the right side of the map.
- Enter the number of the precinct you would like to view. The map will zoom in on that precinct.
