Our universe options include a series of voter universes we have devised for use in your district or city. Each option represents a group, or universe, of voters who could be considered high propensity or likely to vote in a particular election. We utilize our work with thousands of campaigns and over 50 years of cumulative campaign experience to create different sets of universe options that consider both the unique and most relevant election history available.
A set of our standard universe options typically begins with the smallest, or highest propensity universe of voters, with each universe incrementally building on the next to produce a variety of different counts to fit your campaigns budget and needs. 2020 Universe Options

Designed specifically for targeting voters likely to participate in the upcoming November 3, 2020 General election. They reference the most relevant election vote history, registration activity, and other data to predict degrees of turnout behavior. The universes expand incrementally. The smaller numbered universes are the extremely high turnout voters, and each successive universe adds on some additional likely voters. By the time you get to universe “20G5” through “20G5E” you’re looking at a good overall universe for the November 2020 General, but the smaller universes could be best for more expensive voter contact or other use cases. They reference the most relevant election vote history, registration dates, and other data to predict degrees of turnout behavior. The universes expand incrementally. The smaller numbered universes are the extremely high turnout voters, and each successive universe adds on some additional likely voters. By the time you get to universe “20P9” you’re looking at a good overall universe for the November 2020 General, but the smaller universes could be best for more expensive voter contact. All of the below likely voter universes exclude any voters we have identified as deceased or moved from their current residential address.

The below universes “19LAM1” through “19LAM8” are designed specifically for targeting voters likely to participate in the upcoming March 5, 2019 elections in Los Angeles City, USD and CCD, as well as the following cities and jurisdictions with overlapping or similar election vote history, including but not limited to Glendora, Huntington Park, Monterey Park, Manhattan Beach, Montebello, Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills, Redondo Beach, Signal Hill and West Hollywood. They can also be used in any other cities or jurisdictions with similar election history such as June 4, 2019 Los Angeles City Council District 12 special election. *The 6/15 special election vote history applies to voters in Carson and West Hollywood only.

November 7, 2017 (17UN) Local/UDEL Election Universe Options
Designed specifically for targeting voters most likely to turnout for the November 7, 2017 local consolitdated elections, or Uniform District Election Law (UDEL) elections.
March 7, 2017 Local Los Angeles City/USD/CCD/Overlapping and Surrounding Area (17LA) Election Universe Options
Universes “17LA1” through “17LA8” are designed specifically for targeting voters likely to participate in the upcoming March 7, 2017 elections in Los Angeles City, USD and CCD, as well as the following cities with overlapping or similar election vote history, including but not limited to Bell, Carson, Commerce, Cudahy, Gardena, Glendora, Huntington Park, Monterey Park, Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills, Rosemead, San Fernando, San Gabriel, Signal Hill, South Gate and West Hollywood. They can also be used in any other cities or jurisdictions with similar election history and an election scheduled for March 7, 2017, such as Redondo Beach or any of the cities listed under our 17MU universe options.
