Implementation of Credit Bundle system for Texting
With the expansion of Texting capabilities in PDI, the Billing System now has a way to purchase by a number of texts. When you go to the Admin menu and select the PDI Billing Center, go to Review and Pay Invoices. Select the Click to Purchase Services / Data button and look for the Texting Services section.
You can then select your pricing based off the number of texts you wish to send: 10K, 50K, 100K, 500K, or 1M. You can also select a Custom number of texts that will suit your budgetary needs.
Please note that the cost of texting varies depending upon the type of text you send. When you select a number of texts, it is based upon a single SMS segment of 1.4¢. Sending MMS texts will cost 3.4¢. When you select a bundle of texts, the system let you know how many SMS and how many MMS texts are available.
Introduction of Peer to Peer texting link similar to Phone Bank link, allowing volunteers to join a project via the shared link
You may recall from the Phone Bank that the system allows you to create a Link that you can then associate with various Phone Bank Projects. This allows you to send a single link to your volunteers and then change the project that is being run. Your volunteers will only need to know the one link in order to run whatever project it is currently assigned to.
This functionality is now being done with Peer to Peer Texting. When you create a project, you'll assign it to a link. You can then send that link to your volunteers to allow them to run that project by clicking on the link. If they are on their computer, they can run it from their browser and if they're on their phone, they can go to the PDI Mobile App to launch the project. You can then change the project that link is associated with to run a new project without having to send a new link to your volunteers.
As always, the Texting Project can always be accessed through the PDI Mobile App by going to Outreach and tapping on Texting.
Branched Surveys now have Add Texting Response option to allow a text message to be sent when that answer is selected
When creating a Branched Survey, there is a new option for a specific response to a question: Add Texting Reponse. When you run the survey and select that response, the system will automatically text that person what you put in the Enter Reply section.

Added "Previous 60 days" to Date Range in My Flag Data for Create Voter Universe
When creating a Voter Universe, the My Flag Data section of the My Flag tab has a Date Range option. This now contains an option for Previous 60 Days.

Texting pricing updated from 1.5¢/SMS and 3.5¢/MMS to 1.4¢/SMS and 3.4¢/MMS
PDI has reduced the pricing for Texting by .1¢. SMS texts are now 1.4¢ per segment and MMS texts are now 3.4¢.
